Black Friday report
Nortel - $3.01
Activision - $14.71
Amazon - $48.06
All went down a certain amount, got doubts about Amazon now since that comment on my last post. Going to sell right when it hits $49.00 again.
Activision I got no doubts on, it will come back soon.
Nortel, this was a bad play before, now its slowly moving back up to what I bought it at.
*Remember you never loose money until you sell a stock*
Since it was thanksgiving yesterday, Mad Money would instead have a show with Jim Cramer giving info on the stock markets. Here's some great info I feel invincible with. Before any professional investor purchases a stock, they read numerous filings, and listen to some conference calls. With internet being as it these days, content is everywhere in extraordinary amounts.
Do your research! Spend an hour each week researching a single stock and you'll be guaranteed success. Look at key info like gross margin on each product sold, and any insider info there. Compare it with other companies, pick out the best one. I'll be doing all these procedures and reporting how they go along. I'll see how what to exactly look for.
The gross margin Cramer talked about should be looked at by sector.
For cable companies like Comcast, its enterprise = value/subscribers
hotels gross margin = average revenue per room
airlines gross margin = average revenue per seat
store gross margin = last years vs. current years
resteraunts gross margin = last years vs. current years
tech stocks gross margin = gross margin per sale
financial stocks gross margin = net interest margin
Hope this helps.
For now any got some company's worthy of looking at? Comment them. Thanks
